Walked into my old comic shop and the back issue bins are totally gone now

Back in the 90s you could dig through longboxes for hours for a dollar each, but last week I saw they replaced all of them with a Funko Pop wall and a cafe, has anyone else's local shop done the same?

My shop did the same thing two years ago and I still haven't gotten over it. They had a whole row of dollar bins right by the door and now it's just Starbucks cups and vinyl figures everywhere. I asked the owner why and he said the bins took up too much space for what they made. Felt like losing an old friend honestly.

Losing a dollar bin isn't THAT deep. It's just stuff nobody really needed anyway.
