Worst comic convention day I ever had was last Saturday in Chicago
I drove 4 hours to get to C2E2 and spent 2 hours waiting in line outside in the cold. When I finally got in, the one vendor I really wanted to see had already sold his complete run of The Walking Dead #1-50. Has anyone else had a con day go that bad?

A four hour drive for a sold out Walking Dead run sounds rough, but you still got into the show.

Four hours each way just to see a run of a show that's literally filmed on a soundstage a few miles from your house? Hard disagree, @grace565. You paid for gas, tolls, and wasted a whole day for a live experience that's basically just watching actors stand around talking. People drive past actual zombie-infested ruins on the highway every day, and you're going to see the fake ones. The whole point of a Walking Dead run is the immersive feel, not a sold out event where you're elbow to elbow with fans blocking your view of a walker getting stabbed three times. That drive could have bought you two seasons of the show on Blu Ray and a six pack of soda.
