Had a chat with a retired saturation diver in Seattle that made me question my whole career plan
We were talking about the long hitches and he said, 'You trade your 20s for a bank account, but you can't buy those years back.' I've been chasing the big offshore money for 5 years, but now I'm thinking about moving inland to dive support. Has anyone else made a switch like that and been happier?

That line about trading your 20s really hits home. I know a few guys who made the switch to support and never looked back.

My buddy Jake went from sales to support last year. Dude says his stress is gone and he actually likes his team now.
