My hands were shaking but I secured the pipeline clamp anyway
Was on a job yesterday replacing a section of underwater pipeline. The current picked up out of nowhere, and I could feel my heart racing. But I remembered my training and focused on one task at a time. I managed to get the new clamp in place and tightened it down. When I surfaced, the boss gave me a nod, which felt pretty good. It's those little moments that make all the practice worth it. Just wanted to share with folks who get it.

Describe when the shaking stopped.

That weird quiet after. Like the whole house was holding its breath. Dishes still rattled in the sink for a second. You see the new crack in the ceiling plaster and just stare at it. The dust finally starts to settle on everything. That's when you know it's really over.
