Old timer in Morgan City told me to pack my drysuit zipper with beeswax, not silicone
He said silicone attracts grit and will wear the teeth out faster. I tried it on my last job in Lake Pontchartrain, six months of daily dives. The zip still feels smooth as new, no grit buildup at all. Anyone else use beeswax or have a different trick for keeping that main seal running right?

That six month test in Lake Pontchartrain is a solid real world check. Did you use a specific type of beeswax, like a pure bar from a hardware store, or something made for outdoor gear?
