Warning: My comms wire got tangled in a crab pot...
I was doing a hull clean on a fishing boat and my comms wire snagged on a loose crab pot line... Ended up getting dragged around for a minute before the tender figured it out, felt like a fish on a hook. What's the weirdest thing you've gotten tangled up with down there?

Oh man @henderson.amy, the "old fishing net" thing is the worst. I got my line tangled in what looked like a whole ghost net last summer, just a huge mess of frayed plastic. Spent like an hour trying to cut everything free, and my hands were covered in these tiny, sharp fibers. It's scary how much of that junk is just down there waiting to snag something.
