Oh man, same thing happened to me last year off Grand Isle and it was a total nightmare trying to get back up with no pressure. Scariest few minutes of my life just floating there waiting for help.

Wait, no pressure at all? Like you literally just floated there in the middle of the water? That's terrifying, I can't even imagine. I've done some dumb stuff diving but I always assumed at least you'd have a backup or something. So you're telling me you just had to chill and wait for someone to find you? That's a whole different level of scary. I'd be flipping out, like what do you even do in that situation besides just... tread water and pray? I'm honestly shocked there wasn't some kind of emergency plan or spare tank nearby. Glad you made it back okay though, that could've gone way worse real fast.
