Lost $60 on a fake farmers market stall reservation downtown
Booked a spot at what I thought was the Saturday market near 5th and Main through a random site that popped up on Google. Paid $60 with a card, showed up at 7am with my homemade jam, and the actual market coordinator said my name wasnt on any list. Turns out that site was a scam that just copies event details, and the real fee is $25 paid in person. I got my money back through the bank, but it took 3 weeks and a lot of calls. Has anyone else had luck finding legit vendor spots without getting burned like this?
