The guy at Hal's Hardware told me to skip the diner on 5th and try the taco truck behind the laundromat
I figured he was just being nice so I went to the diner anyway and paid $14 for a club sandwich that was mostly bread. Next day I tried the truck, got 3 street tacos for $6, and they were better than anything I've had in town. So now I'm annoyed I didn't listen the first time. Anybody got a spot they almost skipped because the advice seemed too casual?
