I dropped $40 on a random 'story dice' app and it actually got me writing again.
The app gives me five random images like a broken clock, a red door, and a key, and I have to connect them into a scene, which forced me past my usual blank page block. What's a small purchase that's helped your writing process?

Forty dollars for a DICE app? That is a genuinely shocking amount of money for some random pictures. I would have a full on panic attack hitting 'buy' for that. My whole process runs on free stuff and cheap pens. That commitment is wild, but if it actually gets words on the page, I guess you can't put a price on that.
