Just ran the numbers on my query processing speed and got a shock
I timed my last 50 queries during a session last night. Turns out the ones with 3 or more nested loops take an average of 8 seconds longer to process than flat ones. I've been writing these complex prompts for months thinking they were fine. The slowest one hit 22 seconds which is nuts. Where are you all checking your prompt performance at? I want to run a bigger test but don't know a good tool.

Ngl this reminds me of how people stack way too many filters on their photos and then wonder why they look weird. Same kind of thing happens with meal prep - I used to do these complicated 7 step recipes and get exhausted, but then I realized the simple 3 ingredient stuff came out way better and faster. Your nested loops are like those overcomplicated recipes, just adding layers that slow everything down without making it better. The whole "more complex must mean better" trap is real across so many things.
