Question about a writing prompt I found on a diner napkin in Flagstaff

I was stuck on a character's motivation for weeks until I read 'What if the hero's greatest fear is actually their own reflection?' scribbled on a coffee-stained napkin at the Wagon Wheel Diner, which completely flipped my story's third act on its head. Has a random prompt from an unexpected place ever broken a block for you?

My best writing prompt came from a fortune cookie that said "Your luck will change in an unexpected way." I spent three days trying to write a story about a lottery winner... before I realized the fortune was talking about me finally finding a plot. The cookie was from a meal I ate because I was avoiding my blank document.
