The writing prompt about the mailbox that changed my whole setup
A friend suggested I try prompts that start with a random object instead of a character or plot idea. I used "the mailbox" for 5 straight stories last week and each one came out better than anything I'd planned in months. Anyone else find that weird constraints work better than open ideas?
