Thesaurus dependency check on my own WIP caught a weird pattern

I ran my 40k draft through a free word frequency tool yesterday, just out of curiosity. Turns out I used the word 'glanced' 32 times in 12 chapters. That's not a style choice, that's a tic. The tool also flagged every adverb ending in 'ly' and I had 180 of them. No beta reader caught it in 6 months of critique swaps. Has anyone else run their stuff through a counter like that and found something embarrassing? What did you do about it, cut or rewrite?

Ha, 180 'ly' adverbs is basically a whole other language, I bet mine would make my own thesaurus cry. My last draft had "nodded" so many times it read like everyone had a neck spasm.
