Found an old firewall log from 2018 in my home lab archive

I was cleaning out my server closet yesterday when I dug up a laptop running an old pfSense backup from 2018. Opened it up and saw a bunch of brute force attempts on SSH from random IPs across 3 continents. What got me was how many blocks I had set up manually back then compared to now with proper automation. Has anyone else looked at their old logs and cringed at how basic your setup was?

Honestly, simpler setups had their charm though... less to break when stuff went wrong. Kinda miss when I knew every single rule by heart instead of trusting some script to do it for me.
