Walked into a bank last week and saw they still use Windows 7

Had to fix a leaky pipe in the basement of a credit union in Cleveland. Teller's computer was running Windows 7. I asked the manager about it. She said the security vendor told them it was fine because they have "air gaps" and extra firewall layers. Scares me how many places just don't update. Anyone else stumble into old systems on the job?

Air gaps" ain't foolproof when someone plugs in a USB drive.

I just started labeling all drives with red tape that say "NO" and physically locking the USB ports on the sensitive machines. Saved me a headache big time.
