Blew my whole ad budget in 47 minutes thanks to a typo
I was setting up a Google Ads campaign for a client in Austin last Tuesday and accidentally put the daily budget in as the total budget field. It spent $850 on clicks for 'plumbing emergency repairs' before I caught it during my coffee break. Has anyone else had a settings mistake totally wreck their campaign?

Accidentally spent my whole furniture budget on cat beds once, 48 bucks gone in seconds.

Oh man I gotta push back on this one. 48 bucks is actually pretty cheap for a piece of furniture, you can barely get a basic bookshelf from Walmart for that. Cat beds are kinda different too because they aren't just for you, they're for your pet who might actually use them every day. At least you didn't blow 200 bucks on a decorative pillow or something useless like that. Furniture is expensive and hard to get right anyway, better to wait and save up for something decent than waste money on cheap stuff that falls apart.
