Hit 10,000 email subscribers and it felt like a total accident

Honestly I started my newsletter as a side thing to share blog posts. No lead magnets, no opt-in bribes. Just a simple form. Two years later and I hit 10k last week. Made me wonder how much of this is luck vs strategy. Anyone else feel like their biggest wins came from just showing up?
