I ran a TikTok ad for a local bakery and the results were backwards

We spent $500 on a 5 day campaign in Austin targeting foodies, but it drove way more traffic to our Instagram than our actual site. I mean, the video got 200k views and a ton of saves, but our website clicks were under 100. Maybe it's just me but I think the algorithm is built to keep people on its own platform. Has anyone else seen their social ads just feed a different social page instead of their business?

Honestly, TikTok just wanted to show off your bakery to its own friends on Instagram. Classic social media keeping the party on its own turf.

Seems like a weird thing for an app to do. Not sure it's that deep, honestly.
