I thought influencer outreach was just spam until I tried it on a small campaign
For my local bakery in Portland, I hit up 12 micro influencers with under 5k followers each. One post from a food blogger got us 85 new customers in a week. Has anyone else seen real results from the smaller accounts instead of the big names?

Why does everyone assume small accounts are the real goldmine? I've had the opposite experience. Working with a handful of 50k+ food accounts for a restaurant launch got us 300+ new visits from one post. Those big accounts have the algorithms working for them, and their audiences are actually more targeted since they've grown around a specific niche. Micro influencers might seem personal, but they often have friends and family inflating their numbers, not real local buyers.

Right? Totally agree. I ran a similar test for a local pizza spot and the 60k foodie account got us way more actual butts in seats than a bunch of small ones ever did. The algorithm just feeds that content to the right people automatically.
