I was at a brewery in Asheville and saw something smart with their coasters
They had these thick cardboard coasters with a QR code that didn't just go to a menu. It went to a short video of the brewer talking about that week's special beer. I scanned it and watched the whole thing, maybe 45 seconds. It made me want to try the beer way more than just reading a description. Has anyone else seen a business use QR codes in a cool way like that?

I always thought QR codes were useless, but that video idea is actually smart.

That "useless" feeling is exactly why they work, because you only scan when you really want to.

It's a good shift, abby836. The trick is putting them where they solve a real problem, like skipping a long menu link. That makes them feel helpful, not just a gimmick.
