Just remembered when we had to manually submit sites to search engines.

I kept an old list of web directories from my first job where we submitted sites manually. It was time consuming, unlike today's automated tools. Do you prefer the old way or the new efficiency?

Oh man, I remember that grind. Spending hours on those web directories felt so tedious. I don't miss that part one bit, but it does make you appreciate how easy it is now. There was a weird sense of accomplishment getting a site listed back then though.
