Seeing empty community boards made me realize digital marketing took over.

Walking around town, I saw that bulletin boards are empty but social media is packed. Tbh, it seems like digital outreach is the only way to reach people now. Do you think offline methods are done?

It’s wild how even local stuff moved online. My neighborhood watch alerts used to be paper flyers, now they only post on Nextdoor. Feels like if you aren’t checking an app, you miss everything happening two streets over.

My buddy Chris missed his block's garage sale because the flyer was only in a Facebook group he never checks. He didn't see the post until Sunday and missed the whole thing.

Missed a free mulch giveaway last month because the town posted it only on Instagram. My own truck was empty and I had to pay for a load. Felt like a special kind of idiot. Offline isn't done, but you have to play the digital game now or get left out. It's annoying because not everyone is online all the time, but that's just how it is.
