Just realized my Angelfire page from 1999 still has the guestbook working somehow
Was digging through old bookmarks on a broken hard drive I found in my parents' basement in Cleveland last weekend and clicked on my teenage band's Angelfire site, and I swear the guestbook counter went up by one, which either means someone left a new message or the server ghost is still running Perl scripts from 25 years ago; has anyone else found a really old page that just refuses to die?

My Angelfire site from 1998 still has a working MIDI player and it's TERRIFYING.

Haha oh wow, I actually just read something about MIDI files being used in some weird art project. Apparently someone turned a bunch of old MIDI songs into creepy ambient noise by slowing them way down. The original ones from the 90s had that weird robotic sound that just hits different now. Yours probably sounds like a haunted arcade machine or something.
