The Wayback Machine actually changed my mind about old internet archives
I used to think the Wayback Machine was just for seeing old Geocities pages or finding dead links. Then last month someone on Reddit told me they use it to find old software manuals for vintage computers they repair. That got me curious and I looked up a forum from 2005 where people were sharing Windows 98 troubleshooting tips. Now I check it every time I'm working on an old machine. Has anyone else found useful technical info in old cached pages?

Honestly yeah, I found a cracked old BIOS guide that saved me big time.

@claire992 man that cracked BIOS guide is a lifesaver. I remember digging through forums for HOURS trying to find one that actually worked without bricking my machine. Half the links are dead or lead to malware these days. You gotta be REAL careful with what you download too, some of those "cracked" files are total garbage. What board were you working on?
