DAE find out something wild while just browsing an old library catalog?
I was looking for a book on local geology and stumbled on a record showing our town's library was originally funded in 1892 by a single $500 donation from a saloon owner, which I never would have seen in a modern search.

Look at it like this... that random fact shows the library's whole story. It started with a saloon keeper, which tells you who valued public space back then. That kind of context gets lost if you only search for what you think you need.

But isn't that just a random fact with no real meaning today? A saloon owner's donation from over a century ago doesn't change how the library runs now. Finding that feels more like trivia than useful history. Modern search filters save time by keeping you focused on what you actually need, instead of getting lost in old records that don't matter.
