I used to think the library was just for books, but their free museum passes changed my mind

My friend kept telling me to just search online for deals on museum tickets, but I found a better way by checking the front desk at my local library. They have a binder with free passes you can borrow for places like the art museum and science center. I got a pass for four people last month that saved me over $80. The online search just showed me the same paid ads and ticket sites everyone else uses. Has anyone else found cool stuff like this just by asking at a public place?

Oh my gosh YES! That reminds me of the time I found out my town's community center rents out tools. I needed a power washer for one weekend and was about to spend a fortune at the hardware store. My neighbor told me to just go ask at the front desk, and I got it for like twenty bucks for two whole days. It's crazy what stuff is just sitting there if you know to ask.

Seriously, that's the best tip. So many towns have these hidden resources that nobody talks about. It's like a secret menu for real life. You just have to be the person who asks the question. Saves a ton of money and stops you from buying a thing you'll only use once.
