My neighbor said I should just search for old recipes in library books, not online
I was looking for a specific cookie recipe my grandma used to make, and my neighbor Mrs. Jenkins said to check the old community cookbooks at our local library. I spent an hour there yesterday and found it in a book from 1972 called 'St. Mary's Church Bazaar Favorites'. The recipe was exactly right, with her special touch of orange zest. Has anyone else found something perfect by looking in a real, physical place like that?

Totally agree (that extra step makes all the difference). My grandma's recipe has a similar little secret ingredient, honestly.
