Question about picking between two old forum threads on fixing a 1998 Carrier furnace
I had to choose between a 12-page thread from 2003 with a buried fix and a single 2009 post with a clear photo. I went with the long thread and wasted a whole afternoon before finding the answer on page 11. Anyone ever get stubborn about digging through ancient forum archives like that?

Twelve pages? You read twelve pages of a forum from 2003? I would have closed that tab after the third post. That photo from 2009 was right there. I get being stubborn, but that's just punishing yourself.
