That "just pouring hot metal" line reminds me of my friend's dad who was a machinist. People would say he just cut metal all day. He showed me a part he made, this tiny brass piece with threads finer than hair. Told me it went into a medical device that helps people breathe. That "just" word really hides what the work actually is.
